Dr. George Mathew is a medical director in ActiveHealth Management, an Aetna company, leading the Quality Measures and Analytics team. Dr. Mathew is a graduate of Boston University’s Accelerated Medical Program, and Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business/Health Sector Management program. He completed his Internal Medicine residency through Yale University, and has worked in various positions for companies such as General Electric, Goldman Sachs, and Pfizer. He currently is an assistant professor at New York Medical College/Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, NY, Board Certified in Internal Medicine, a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, a member of the American College of Medical Quality and Certified in Medical Quality by the ABMQ. He also serves as a Physician Panelist at Doximity, a physician social network, a Board Advisor for CarePredict, a medical device start-up on elderly remote monitoring, and contributes to local health IT startups.
